A Weekend Full of Birthdays!

It was my birthday weekend...along with my dad's. For 24 years now, we've stolen each other's "birthday thunder" (his is on the 23rd, mine the 24th). But I've never really minded. It's always fun to celebrate together and have several days packed with birthday madness.

It started was supposed to start Thursday, when several friends and I had plans to go to the Painted Pig and paint pottery. We were all so excited to eat at ZAZA, eat cupcakes and paint pottery, but an unexpected round of snow ruined our plans. So instead, my sister and I made the trip on Friday by ourselves. We ate at Cafe Prego, a neat little Italian restaurant in the Heights.

They had yummy bread. You should try it.

Then, it was on to paint pottery. We had a lot of fun and were very proud of our pieces!

Saturday we celebrated my dad's 50th Birthday! But if you're feeling sorry for him, don't! He says he doesn't feel a day over 30!

We ate lunch at Cantina Laredo, and it was mmmmm mmmm, good!

The cutest party guest, ever.

Then Sunday (on his actual bday), we had a potluck dinner for my dad after church. Sadly, I forgot my camera. However, you're probably glad considering I'm currently overloading you with photos.

And Monday, the celebrating turned back to me! On this, my actual bday, I happened to have a meeting at work, so I made the hubs and baby girl get up early with me and head to LR. After my meeting, we ate a birthday breakfast at MiMi's Cafe... my fave!

After breakfast, we went to Bed, Bath & Beyond, where I picked out all new decor for our bathroom.

you like?

And we rounded out the day with a birthday dinner at Grandpa's BBQ, which my MIL treated us to.

Whew! That's a lot of celebrating! I have to say, I'm one blessed girl.
