Introducing... Makeover Monday!

Welcome to a new weekly series on Then There Were Three! It's called "Makeover Monday."

And what will we be making over, you ask?

This.

This is the house that Tyler and I plan to move into once it is completely MADE OVER.

That's right, we're moving.

I know, I know, we just bought our house. And we love it. But moving is going to put us in a much better financial situation so we can worry less about money and working and more about spending time with our family.

And that's a plus.

(In the meantime we have to sell our house so you can PLEASE be praying that that happens!)

Over the next few months, I will give you an update on the makeover of this house because, let me tell you, it's going to be a big one. My dad is doing practically all the work. (That's him on the porch.) And before I go any further, let me just give him major props. He works miracles in houses. He turns dumps into "showplaces," as he humbly calls them. And he's the only one I'd trust to turn this mess into something livable.

Let me also say that I am quite embarassed to even be showing you these pictures. I mean, wow, you can see why. But I also think it will be fun for you to watch the progress as it happens. And I promise, it will happen!

P.S. Another interesting aspect of this here process will be the race between the selling of our house, the finishing of this house and the arrival of Baby #2. I'm totally pulling for the sale to win, the remodel to come in second, and the baby to come in third. But we shall see.
