My Favorite Fall Tradition

Friday, I took my girls to the pumpkin patch, which has become a yearly tradition for us. Before I had kids, I had never even heard of a "pumpkin patch," and now (not gonna lie) it's one of my most anticipated events of the year... pumpkins, fall clothes, hay, animals, pig races... what's not to love? :)

This year we went to the new Scott Pumpkin Patch, and it was by far the best one we've ever been to. It was so cute! Everywhere you looked, there was beautiful scenery and the ideal set-up for pictures.

Too bad it's impossible to get both of mine looking and smiling at the camera. But obviously, they weren't there for the pictures. They were there for the fun. And that's the other reason I loved this place: there was so much to do! There were pig races, farm animals, potato sack slides, a playground, a hayride, bull swings and of course, pumpkins!

Randomly though, Eden got sick during lunch and, um, "spit up" as she called it. I can't figure out if she's had something going on with her stomach the past few days or if she's just sensitive to heat/smells/etc... She was basically fine the rest of the day though and played happily with her cousin Ella who joined us with her mom and sister.

I loved this place so much, I've already about decided I want to have Eden's next birthday party here (what, you don't plan your kids' parties a year in advance?).

And just for kicks, I dressed Selah in the same outfit that Eden wore for her first trip to the pumpkin patch.

It's crazy how time flies.
