We arrived in Chicago around 4 p.m. Monday (after a flight that was delayed 2 hours).

We stayed at the Hyatt on the Magnificent Mile. It was a gorgeous place.
I had asked, the night before on Facebook, for suggestions of things to do in Chicago. Unfortunately, we had time for none of it. By the time we settled into our hotel, it was dinnertime, and that's about all we had time for. We ate at the famous, Giordano's, (which was one of the recommendations!), and it totally lived up to the hype. I didn't get any pictures, but this Chicago-style pizza was AWESOME. I'm talking inches deep of fatty goodness.
After that, we walked back to the hotel and ended up getting a call from the show that they wanted to come over and take a few more photos of Tyler. Including shirtless photos, I might add. To say he was less than excited about this would be the understatement of the year. But thankfully, the associate producers that came over were young, laid back and super friendly. They immediately made us feel comfortable.
After a quick, informal photo shoot, we hit the sack. We were EXHAUSTED from traveling.
The next morning we were supposed to be up and outside our hotel waiting for our ride to the studio at 9:45 a.m. But our morning didn't go as planned... For no apparent reason
[[remember that other time I randomly got sick?]]
After spending an hour with severe stomach pain, I didn't think there was anyway we'd be ready to go by the scheduled time. But somehow, we rushed around like crazy (and our ride was late arriving!) and we made it just fine.

Oh, one other tidbit I forgot to mention... the morning OF the show, the producer informs us they've decided to have the guys take off their shirts on stage :| Until this point, we've been told all along that that's not happening. In case you don't know by now, Tyler is not the strut-your-stuff kind of guy, so he is completely uncomfortable with this.... we just wanted you to know that wasn't part of the plan!
In the end, I thought it was a fun trip. A memorable experience, at least. I'm still bummed we didn't get the free trip to Aruba (the grand prize), but we did walk away with a $500 consolation prize. Not too shabby. Like I said, we still don't know the air date, but as soon as I do, I'll post on my Facebook page. Please watch. (And say nothing to Tyler about it because he's still terribly embarrassed), but please let me know if you too think he was robbed ;)
