So over the last couple of weeks I've done a lot of raving about MomLife Bootcamp. But what I have yet to tell you about is the amazing location where the conference was held: Pine Cove Camp. I first heard of Pine Cove several months ago while reading a friend's blog. She and her husband and three kids attend "family camp" at Pine Cove every summer. They've been going for 10 years! On her blog, she raved about everything from the food, to the accommodations, to the outstanding staff. Everything sounded top-notch, and she insisted her family preferred Pine Cove to Disney! I decided right then that family camp at Pine Cove needed to go on my family's bucket list. She honestly made it sound like a little piece of Heaven.
So imagine how excited I was when I found out that MomLife Bootcamp was at Pine Cove! No, this wasn't family camp, but it would still include all the amenities and the amazing staff that make people fall in love with Pine Cove. I couldn't wait to see what all the fuss was about...
And folks, it did not disappoint! I was only at Pine Cove (their Bluffs camp in Tyler, TX) for two short days, but I was endlessly impressed. The staff at Pine Cove go above and beyond to make sure that every detail of your stay is PERFECT. The cabins were so nice and so well-kept. The meals were some of the best I've ever eaten. And the staff? Honestly, some of the biggest servants I've ever met. They're mostly college students (from around the country) who all have huge hearts for the Lord. Their love for Him pours out with every word they speak, and they sacrifice themselves completely to make your stay at Pine Cove exceptional. Oh, and they are all awesome dancers!
I left my weekend at Pine Cove fully understanding what all the fuss was about! Their mission statement is "Pine Cove exists to be used by God to transform the lives of people for His purposes and His glory!" And that is exactly what they do. They make every detail perfect so that your whole experience is life-changing.
When I got home, I was even more certain I wanted my whole family to experience Pine Cove. I knew my husband and my kids would enjoy the beautiful outdoor setting and the stellar recreational activities, and I knew we could all benefit from time away from life's busyness to focus on God and each other.
And thanks to God's amazing provision, WE ARE GOING!!! I'm so excited to say that my four will be attending family camp at the Bluffs July 7-13. We'll enjoy fun activities together (themed dress-up nights!), date nights without the kids (child care provided!), and inspirational speakers to help strengthen our walks with God.
And you know what I would REALLY love? If you could experience Pine Cove too! I strongly encourage you to browse their website and pray about whether you should invest in your family through Pine Cove this summer. They also have a wide range of Youth Summer Camps for children and teenagers. The youth camps are described as some of the most impactful weeks of students' lives. At Pine Cove, your child or teen will participate in Bible studies, water sports, rope courses and mentorship from counselors who are passionate about the Lord.
And yes, signing your child or family up for camp is an investment because it is a little pricey, but if you've been planning to hit up the beach for the 10th year in a row, it might be worth reconsidering, for a vacation with eternal value.
I've got a discount code for you!
