Among the hustle and bustle of the day, most of us find at least a few precious moments where we're still with our children, when we're giggling with them or just quietly soaking them in... And when we're feeling stressed or overwhelmed, those moments keep us going. They fill our hearts with so much joy and make all the hard times worth it.

For me, those moments are often at bedtime. There are other precious moments throughout the day too, but there's something especially special about cuddling up with my big girl in her pink and purple bedroom, reading a book and saying prayers. And there's nothing sweeter than rocking my 21 month old to sleep while singing "You Are My Sunshine" (and yes, I still rock her to sleep).

Those precious moments, and specifically those bedtime routines, are engrained in my memory for -- hopefully -- a lifetime. They are some of the sweetest ones we share.

Sometimes Daddy sneaks in on the bedtime routine too.
One of the books I've been reading with my girls lately is Precious Moments: Little Book of Prayers. This sweet book includes a host of original and traditional prayers to pray with your children. So you can read the book to them all at once, or pick and choose prayers to pray throughout the day. For example, some of the prayers included are "My Morning Prayer," "A Blessing for My Friends," "A Blessing for School," "Mealtime Prayers," and many more.

I'm giving away a copy of Precious Moments: Little Book of Prayers so one reader can create precious moments praying through this book with his or her children. To enter, leave a comment telling me what your most precious moments are with your children (and be sure to let Rafflecopter know you commented.) For additional entries, like me on Facebook and follow me on Twitter. I'll announce a winner Monday, Oct. 14.
