By the time bedtime rolls around, I am at my most exhausted point of the day. How about you? It's hard not to want to hurry through bedtime routines so that I can get to kid-less "Mommy Time" a little faster. However, I try not to do that, because tucking my girls into bed provides a sweet opportunity to talk about our day, pray to God, and learn about Him too. And I recently got a new resource from Tommy Nelson that makes doing all of that a little easier.
God's Little Princess Bedtime Devotional by Sheila Walsh is the perfect way for girls ages 4-7 to end the day. This book is adorable with its sparkly, embellished cover and is a great combination of scriptures, prayers and activities.
Eden loves doing these devotions and so do I. They provide some really sweet quality time between us and with God. As we work our way through this book, I feel like she is becoming more well-rounded in her faith and I love that.
I'm giving away one copy of God's Little Princess Bedtime Devotional. To enter, leave a comment telling me what your child's bedtime routine consists of (& be sure to let Rafflecopter know you commented). (Or click here to purchase your own copy. You won't be sorry!) I'll announce a winner this Friday, Jan. 31.
