In what ways do you incorporate Jesus into your kids daily lives? A big one for me is reading Jesus-centered books with them... if you're going to read books anyway, you might as well read ones that are meaningful! Another tangible thing I try to do with my little ones is pray over meals and talk about Jesus and scripture while we're eating together. Mealtime is great for talking and learning, so with that in mind, I've designated our new Tommy Nelson book, God and Me, our mealtime devotion book.
I leave this book sitting on our bar, and I read the girls devotions from it while they're eating. They love it!
It is a large, hard-back book that includes bite-sized devotionals for each day of the year and a book marker to keep your place. Each page is bright and colorful and includes photos of kids in everyday situations.
What I love most about this book is that the devotions are very simple and practical. It's sometimes difficult to find devotions for very young kids, but I feel like even Selah gets something out of these.
I mean, doesn't she look spiritual? :-)
I'm giving away one copy of God and Me and all you have to do to enter is leave a comment telling me ways you incorporate God into your kids' daily lives, and then enter via Rafflecopter below. I'll announce a winner Tues. Feb. 25.
